I would recommend you save yourself the hackle and stress
and simply format the drive to NTFS.I dont see what could be
the mix opinions you get from people. Formatting to the better
format of NTFS is apple & oranges, its only an advantage.
You also said your renders are failing. Are you using a powerful pc?
Seeing the “No recompression required” is good,its smart rendering.
It means the footage is not going tru any further processing.

Go to “view” on the menu bar and in the drop down list select
“active take information” and you are done.

i doubt the features i would guide you to are in that studio
version of Vegas.
But generally to get the text remain on the screen a bit longer
you can try simply lengthening the length of the media generator
that’s on the timeline.

No No …….Something is wrong with your system.
Some process is happening in the background that is causing you
these problems. But its hard to be specific and offer solutions
not knowing all that you have on your system…etc.

Of the bat, the quicktime format would be a good file format
to render out your footage from Vegas to give to your Final cut
user (nothing complex)…best try ask them which quicktime codec
they would prefer to recieve it in.

That perfectly smooth animation you are looking for is not
really available in Vegas…The track motion feature is what
you would use, But as i said it, you may not get the perfect
look you are looking for.
Always best to have a motion graphics software to compliment Vegas
when it comes to these tasks.
