For those of you who rely on being able to see time code on your clips, be advised that the most recent update changed this capability.
Instead of displaying true time code, it now resets to 00:00:00;00 at the start of every new clip.
It was reported on the Sony Vegas forum yesterday and has been confirmed by several users, myself included.
Sony has been made aware of this problem.

    “Events”, Mike. “Events”. (Not clips).

You are putting linear time code on the tape all the way through by capturing from beginning to the end of the tape without stopping with each NEW tape before using them for a project right? At least with my old Canon GL1, if I didn’t do that first, time code would start over everytime I started capturing on that tape.

Danny, this is definitely a bug.
I’ve been shooting tape for more years than I care to admit and am very careful (shooting heads and tails to cover me if I rewind or eject) to make sure that I have continuous timecode on it.
I can drop older footage on a Pro 9 or Pro 8 timeline and have the source timecode properly displayed.
I do that in Pro 10.0c and every single clip starts at 00:00:00:00
BTW, I found out the bug is in 10.0b as well.
    10.0a seems to be OK.

A new update and “whoops we lost the time code on the events!!!” Now that is some sloppy code work. I’m noticing a real trend in this direction unfortunately.
