Try renaming the video files themselves directly, and when
you open the project in vegas, it ask for the missing files,
you then select them each. It might be time consuming,
but its worth it if this project is that important….. I cant
guarantee success, but i hope that helps your project gets back
on track.(also try reinstalling all your vegas plugins

they seem to be reappearing
lol…Worry not Mark, they are only created once when you
import a media within Vegas, so deleting them affects
nothing…Therefore they will keep appearing as long as you
use them in Vegas. They are just files vegas builds for
the waveforms, etc to be visible and for quicker access.

Yep…Simple. Just make sure you have the new logo as the same
size, position,etc, as that of the old logo.
Then in the Project Media window, right click the old logo and
select Replace, then when the window pops up simply find
and select the new logo….and you are good to go.Steve Rhoden

What are you doing with the footage you want rendered as h264?
Vegas does not has this render option directly, but there are
excellent alternatives that’s available…i always use the SonyAVC

Convert them instead to the png format and you shouldn’t have
any problems there….png sits very well with Vegas.
I suspect its those raw files being imported as sequence that’s

Immediately after you rendered that video (before doing the restore), did you play it back and was it ok?
