No, you cant scale back on the graphics card.
Despite the fact that there has not been that much positive
press for the money spent.
I personally hate all the confusion around this graphics

The way how to fix that is to Deinterlace the footage,
Because what you are seeing is interlacing.
I use Borisfx Deinterlacing filter anytime i come across clips

You can use Vegas itself to burn perfect Audio CD’s to play
back in every CD Playing device. No need to go hunting for Nero,

Rename the folder the files are in and move it to a different
location, and then restart your pc….See if that helps.
