-Is AvidDnxHD still the preferred format for exporting out of Sony Vegas with the intent to import and edit within Final Cut?
-Is this true for SD content as well? If not, what’s the best way to do this with SD content?
-Can anyone kindly provide a breakdown of the custom render settings within Vegas to create the best file possible for this task (SD)?

Vegas can render out any quicktime format (and others),
thats fully compatible with Final cut.Steve Rhoden
