The only thing i can recommend at this point is simply using any
other version apart from Vegas 11.
You had perfect right to be leery of Vegas 11 and its stability from
what you read, its exactly that!
If you dont have Vegas 12 or 13, go back to 10. You cant find the
disc so download the latest update from the site and retrieve your

The Adobe Mercury engine is probably making better use of your GPU

Are you kidding? Trying doing that with say 200 pictures the right
and proper way, by Panning and cropping each photo and then dropping
different transitions between them…. and see when you get done!-“what does ‘still motion’ give“-

And in addition to Wayne’s input, You can also use Vasst StillMotion
plugin for Vegas, for a whole lot easier and customizable approach in
creating slideshows with numerous photos and if you intend to do more

If you search this forum, you will find this a common issue with
game capture source, and i have commented on this issue so many times!
AGAIN, game capture footage are not edit friendly, you will have
these issues or other issues no matter what you do or what you use…Steve Rhoden (Cow Leader)

I think you can turn off your keyboard sounds in your Sound settings

If such complexing issues occur for you, then avoid using those hotkeys.
Its not like there isn’t better alternative. I’ve never used hotkeys in Vegas
