What happens if you start a new project and import into it? It sounds like your settings are not exactly the same.
On the other hand, I always suggest finishing projects in the program they were created in.

If Dynamic link is not an option, export your titles using the Quicktime Animation codec and remember to use Millions of Colors + (the + sign is important).
Remember to not use any white above 235,235,235 and no blacks below 16,16,16.

On the other hand, you could use the Adobe Title Designer that is a part of Premiere Pro to make the matte.

Perhaps, but I have not tried. I don’t believe I will miss any of the missing ones, and the new ones look interesting.

You might want to try bringing them into a PC version of CS3 and then moving them to the Mac. But even then, there may be file formats that are inappropriate for use on a Mac.

No. Sorry, I have no idea what the cause of that particular problem might be. Mine can be accessed and modified and saved without issue.

The new additions to Premiere Pro CS3 itself are pretty limited, but the entire Production Premium has a sufficient number of improvements to justify the package upgrade. And as stated above, you now get Encore and OnLocation which can be pretty handy to have.
