We import a batch capture list with timecode in and out points. When we go to capture the footage from tape, the batch list is correct in Premiere Pro but that actual timecode sections that Premiere captures are not always correct. It will capture footage but the WRONG timecode, different from imported batch capture list. Not all the time – intermittent. Anyone know what might be causing this?

The tapes have continuous timecode and we are not going back or forward so far that we run out of timecode or tape. So that is not the issue.

We are capturing 720P HDV footage via firewire using the JVC HDV BRHD50U deck. We use Cineform Aspect HD (Intermediate Codec) when capturing. Using Premiere Pro 2.0 on a Dual Zeon PC system.

    Thoughts?
