1. Edit a sequence into another with no nesting.
You can always copy and paste, but it isn’t a perfect solution. Why not nest? In any case, it was not added.
2. Audio meters when capturing
Capture over firewire is a digital transfer. Even if you had meters they wouldn’t help you any. No, CS3 didn’t add it and I doubt it will ever be added.
3. Add edit to single clip without using the cut tool.
I don’t understand the question. You can use a hotkey, is that what you mean?
4. A timecode window (big and bright)
The timecode effect was added in 2.0 – what is the purpose of a big window? No, not added.
5. Easier to navigate bins in capture window
No change that I noticed. But bins are better.
6. Better Bin navigation (I know they fixed this)
Much better.
7. Adjust audio levels of clips by using the mixer
No, just tracks.
8. Open multiple projects or import individual sequences/clips from other projects.
No.
9. Export frame and open in PS in one step.
No.
10. Multi-threaded?
If you mean it takes all of your multiple CPUs into account, then yes. If you mean it does background tasks, then no.
11. Manipulate transition when adding rather than in the effect window
No.
12. Better slow mo (Speed ramping is cool. But what if I want interpolated rendering?)
Yes, the slow motion is much improved.
13. Easier to navigate and set keyboard shortcuts and project settings
I don’t think there is anything wrong with the way keyboard shortcuts are set, but no, there were no changes.
14. Faster less obtrusive Auto save
I have not noticed any chamge.
