PPro 2 project in CS3 requires rendering… why?
I imported a PPro 2 project into CS3 only to discover that nothing is realtime…I get the red render line over every clip, even those imported into the project for the first time…this is an HDV project. Am I missing a setting or something to remove this issue?

What happens if you start a new project and import into it? It sounds like your settings are not exactly the same.
On the other hand, I always suggest finishing projects in the program they were created in.

New projects in CS3 work just fine.
