Right-click on the keyframe in the ECW and you will find the Bezier settings as well as Ease In and Out.

It could use some punching up. The Saturday Night Fever thing was pretty decent, but the whole fast motion thing could have been cut. You can also use some of the audio from one portion of the clip while showing another part, just to lead in and out of different sections. L cuts or J cuts were not used from what I can see.
The office scenes were slow in comparison to the more interesting server room. The talent showed a completely different excitement level as well.
If this is to be one of a series showing all of the different departments, then getting to know the people can be important. If this is just the one department, you can use a little bit of footage to introduce and humanize the IT guys, but dragging on with the Star Wars stuff was a little boring.

Whew! I thought so. But arguing with Mike Velte can be an extremely precatious place to be. 🙂
Now that we know the answer, I can say that the reason I thought so was because of the speed of AVI exports after a render has already been done. I didn’t think there was enough time to change codecs. But I could not find proof. My codec checker was so confused it thought it was a Sony codec. I need a new checker I guess.

I am using almost all JPG with a few PSD thrown in for laughs. And the occasional BMP that happened to be in the directory for whatever reason. The sizes are 2048X1536 from my camera, and all over the map from the stills a buddy scanned in for me when I did his 10th Anniversary DVD.
He used 2500X1733 a lot, and 3000X2016, and 2933X2050. Lots of different scans at different sizes.

Ah, you can do that. There are templates that have a graphic that “punches through” to an alpha channel. Find one and copy the object over to your title and use it that way. You can change it’s type, but it is easy to copy, and difficult to make an object do that. I know how, but it involves messing with the text file that defines the title.
