This is a common problem. It is suggested that you either use Scene Detect to keep the captured clips short, or you manually capture in shorter portions. A few minutes at a time.

Are your keyframes track keyframes or clip keyframes? If clip, then adjust the track will do the job. No problem. If track, then you might want to use the nested sequences as I suggested. The keyframes on the original sequence work fine, but new ones can be created on the nested sequence without a problem.

If it were me, I would probably put the entire sequencfe into a new sequence and attempt to use the audio mixer to get the volume just right.And make sure you do not exceed -6dB on the meters.

Yes. The audio mixer works on tracks, not on clips. You move the clip and the keyframes do not move.
Get used to using nested sequences. That way, the entire sequence looks like a single clip. So adjust your audio on one sequence, then use it in another.

It is true that there is a shortage of keyboard shortcuts for bins and windows. Perhaps it would be better for you to go back to Avid? I am not at all sure I understand why people change to a different program and then complain about it. Use what you feel comfortable with.
That does not mean you are wrong to want the shortcuts. You should put in the feature requests. It is just that Premiere Pro does not do what you want. So why use it?

The seven mad gods are only mad because you didn’t read the manual or the help file regarding stills.
The stills are not zoomed in. The problem is that they are not zoomed out in the monitor window the way they are in the source window. Your pics are bigger than your frame size. Scale them down in the Motion effect.
Or, set the Project Settings (general tab) to automatically scale the clips to project dimensions when placed on the sequence. The Motion effect is still being used, but automatically.
