    Steven,

Thanks for the quick reply. It works great! This was a basic beggining test to more creativity on PP2. I am able to this same thing on my FCP system at home. Thanks again.

  • Harm,

Thanks for your help. Onward and upward with the firewire card and my DSR-11. Thanks again.

  • Harm,

I had a fire card on the back of the system with three inputs that was OHCI compliant and it works fine now. I would still love another video card. The Canopus worked ok with PPro 1.5, but don’t know enough of what’s out there on the PC side of things. I am a FCP editor outside of here. And please do not say Matrox. Their support sucks pretty bad. Great products, but no support. End of story.

  • Mike,

That’s what the current set-up is. I have the S-Video going to the monitor and composite audio going to the monitor and the fire wire going to the DVX100a. When I plugged in the DSR-11 and left the rest of the set-up the same the deck was not recognized.

Talk to Richard Harrington. He is also a forum leader in the Adobe Photoshop COW Forum. He had some excellent examples at Photoshop World in Miami.

    Aaron,

Are you working in CMYK, Lab or RGB? Some filters are not available in CMYK or Lab. Change mode to RGB and apply filter and change back to CMYK. It is best to start as an RGB image and then convert as the last step.
    Hope this helps.

If you are proficient in After Effects then you can control the moves and render a nicer looking show for your clients.

I perused the archives and found out what I didn’t want to hear, but I hope 2.0 fixes the audio issues with split channel editing.
