I have been needing to add audio dissolves over some cuts to smooth the audio transitions, mostly 2 frame centered on the cut kind of things. Or in other instances adding video effects presets on 1 cameras clips on a well chopped timeline. On my old ancient long gone Avid I could highlight and it would drop a effect every transition. This can be silly repetitive work if there is a shortcut. Regardless I thank everyone for their assistance on this post. I will check back.

Can you elaborate on how that shortcut works?
I was looking for this shortcut as well but I can not seem to get it to work on 1.5.I have my desired clip in the source screen and I want to insert the whole deal in the timeline and the / key does not function.

I was looking for this shortcut as well but I can not seem to get it to work on 1.5. Is is a bad case of the mondays or what? I have my desired clip in the source screen and I want to insert the whole deal in the timeline and the / key merely laughs at me.

Thank you for your assistance, it works great and you will save me lots of time. Sometimes you take a function for granted until it is not there anymore. This command is a good work around. I wish they programmed this one Avid style.

    Thank You for your input!
