For the future, have the talent use makeup before the shoot so this does not have to be done in post.

Same goes for plastic surgery. I refuse to fix someone’s blemishes and personal body flaws. We do not live in a perfect world.

It will look stretched. Take a look at my Cubs locker room footage. Lou Piniella was shot 4:3. The other shot with the team celebrating from Fox was stretched. Everything else I shot was 16:9.

Yes you can record to the P2 and Firestore at the same time. I have done it with a FS-3.

You will need a FS-100 to record HD and DV 50. Standard FS-4 will record DV. The HDV Firestores are specific for those cameras.

You need to copy the images from the SD card via a reader or the camera onto your computer (your camera manual should tell you how). Then you can import the images into FCP.

Connect the Mini DV Deck/camera to your computer with FCP and use the print to tape option. If you need a step by step, the manual (under FCP Help) will give it to you.
