Ok, sorry if this answer is already out there; I’ve searched and cannot find it. Ok, here’s the deal: I’m shot with a Canon XH A1 and used the phot option while filming a short music video. I have a total of 64 still images I shot on the SD Memory Card while filming at the same time (pretty cool function). ANYWAY, the problem is this: I am able to capture the video I shot fine with no problems, but I can’t seem to find a way to capture or copy those still images off the damn card. Short of running out tomorrow and buying an SD Card reader, does anyone know how I can do this in Final Cut… or just copying those images off the SD Card while it’s still in the Canon? PLEASE!?!

You need to copy the images from the SD card via a reader or the camera onto your computer (your camera manual should tell you how). Then you can import the images into FCP.

I don’t know how the Canon works. The Sony’s have a MiniUSB connexion to access the stills. Just plug, drag and drop.
