  • So, if I do make an Iso image, and delete all the project files, it’s like deleting project files in the timeline, (it won’t be able to produce more dvd’s because it can’t find the project files?

Yes, just for dvd purposes. If I do the template to widescreen it changes the output as an “m2t” file, if that’s a problem. I know my computer doesn’t seem to recognize that extension.
So what you are saying is to set properties to default, which is NTSC Standard DVD, and rendering to template for NTSC DVD Widescreen? Will this fill the whole screen on a widescreen tv?
And what is the purpose of the HD 720……… properties?

I did that with the jmh preset “falling off edge” (or something like that). I deleted all but the last letter of original text, typed mine in, then deleted the last letter of original text. Then hit play button. Text tilted, but none of the text fell, like the original. Also, are there anymore presets out there (on the internet that can be downloaded?

So you are saying that there would be no noticeable difference in the looks of the video? There is no real reason to do in 24P, if there isn’t any change of looks.

Is there really any difference in the outcome of the video, and audio? Anything that the client would notice? It’s a wedding video.

Okay, that seemed to work. Made a “Collections Folder” and put them in there, but can’t seem to get them to work when I delete the text that makes up the preset, like “falling off ledge”. When I delete that text, and put in my own, the text tilts but doesn’t fall. Actually I have only used Pro Titler about 15 minutes in the last year. Not an easy process, like everyone else seems to say, and very little explanations on how to do things. I grab titler from media generator, and drag one of the presets to the timeline. Titler opens up, I drag, say “Fall off Ledge” from the collections tab, to the Titler timeline, erase their text and type mine in, and play. Text tilts, but doesn’t do any falling. Same with the others.

Did you manage to get them loaded into Pro Titler? I followed the instructions on jetdv.com but there is no directory line as stated. example: c:Documents and Settings{username}Application DataSonyTitler 1.0Collections” in XP.

I did a search and found no such sub directory “Titler” or “Application Data”, and did not find anything in the Sony, or Sony setup directories.

  • Upon further review of the filters, it does say in very small print “10 days of evaluation left”. Very decieving. Nowhere else did it say anything about evaluation. you have to apply a filter before it says anything, and then it’s really small. SORRY for the excitment, I guess you really don’t get something for nothing.

  • Yes, I installed on both versions. They seem to work, but haven’t played with for that long. Just downloaded early this morning.

    Steve,
Thanks for pointing that out. It is not on Version 8. But I am putting a link to get it free.
