Don’t quote me on this but I don’t think you can capture 35mb Xdcam HD through firewire. You can only capture 25mb XDCam HD.

Just discovered the 2.12 drivers that fix the G5 problem are on the site.

You need pictures in the folder and you have to wait about 20-30 seconds for the magic!

It’s in the photo screensavers, choose an album and then select mosaic in the display style

Perfectly safe to do if you have a cloned backup of your system drive under 10.4.

If we say “clone the system drive” enough then it will hopefully stop some poor person upgrading without backup and losing weeks or months of work!

My upgrade with BMD card and Sonnet SATA RAID card has gone OK so far – although I am expecting trouble ahead, but I’m not worried because I’ve cloned my system drive 🙂

Icon view in import dialogue box is going to be very useful – Love the coverflow view. How long before we get coverflow view in FCP bins!

Also if you have a Video card then check your manufacturer has released Leopard drivers. BMD have theirs up already.
