This happens when you copy clips to a different sequence size. You can increase the scale of one clip and then copy it. Then select all of the other clips and right click on one. Choose Paste Attributes and then check the Basic Motion Check box. Best of luck.

If you like AE and it is working for you then stick with it. You don’t need to cut the lampost in Photoshop. You can add multiple masks to another video layer. Best of luck.

I think Motion and AE are both great programs. I use them both. I just started my first project on Adobe Premiere yesterday and that program has some really cool features.
Just like in AE there are ways to speed up the program. A good one is to change the Render Resolution to half or lower.

I have no idea why that hasn’t worked. Try this. Go to the bottom of the Canvas where you have the controls such as the play and record buttons. To the right is a box that has the projects length. So currently it will say 00:00:10;00. Change the project length their and see if that works. My fingers are crossed.

I think you need to ask yourself how complicated is this project and how fast is your computer? I’ve been able to build almost everything with out having to export part of it and then bring it back into the project. Pre-comping can keep things better organized and help you move a bunch of stuff easily. Color Grading software is what I would use. A program such as Color can select the tan line only in its secondary and you could adjust the tan line only. It acts like a keyer where you select a certain color and then adjust it. I have not used it yet, but Black Magic offers a free version of its color grading software: https://www.blackmagic-design.com/products/davinciresolve/models/

Sorry, I forgot. Motion 5 doesn’t have the Animation codec. One of the many reasons I’m still on Motion 4. Sorry, I hope someone else with Motion 5 can help.
