Can’t figure out how to make an 18-second movie. Have gone into General > Properties and tried to change Duration to 18, but it keeps reverting to 10.0. Changed 10 to 18 in Motion > Preferences > Default Project Settings, but the playhead still won’t budge past 10 seconds, and I can’t move the Out bar at the right of the timeline.

I have no idea why that hasn’t worked. Try this. Go to the bottom of the Canvas where you have the controls such as the play and record buttons. To the right is a box that has the projects length. So currently it will say 00:00:10;00. Change the project length their and see if that works. My fingers are crossed.

I have had this problem (or something like it). When you go into the project properties (Project > Inspector > Properties tab) and enter a new duration, you have to click Return on your keyboard to make it happen. Simply clicking out or tabbing out of the field doesn’t do it for me.
