[Stephen Smith] “The only thing I can think of trying is the Link Behavior but this won’t be easy like After Effects. ”There’s nothing hard or convoluted about it if you know what you’re doing. In fact it’s even EASIER when it comes to fine tuning the link, since you need to know and understand Expressions in AE to do that, which can hardly be considered “easier” by any stretch of the imagination.
And one would also have to DEFINE “parenting” first to even know what it is he needs, since a simple GROUP could suffice (something AE doesn’t have btw).
In AE parenting is super easy, it is just a mater of utilizing one step. No expressions needed to create this video I did that heavily relied on parenting: https://vimeo.com/53901807
At the end of the day you can argue about which program is better but it is a wast of time in my oppion. I have built cool stuff with both programs, they should have a label on the program that says “talent not include”. It is up to the user to make things look good.

That is interesting. I had a friend bring it into Premiere CC and it only imported .jpg files. Could there be something wrong with the file structor? As for CS6 the plug-in says it supports CS6: https://www.sonycreativesoftware.com/plad-rw1
For a temporary solution I converted them to ProRes in the Sony software but I would prefer to bring the clips into Premiere.Stephen Smith

I would drop the bottom one’s opacity to 60% or so or just make it gray. That will separate the two from each other.

The best you are going to get with parenting is adding a behavior, Parameter, Link
IN the Source object you drag the layer you want to parent together in to it. Change the Source Parameter to what it is you want to mimic. For example, if it is the position: Properties, Transform, Position, All. Then when you move the position of the one layer they move together. It sucks compared to After Effects but that is the only way that I know of.
