Are you saying you shot footage of a person pretending to fall in a hole on green screen? If yes, you can use position keyframes to move them so they fall down the hole. Have you created your ground layer with the hole yet? Just duplicate it, move it to the top layer above the green screen and add a mask around the front of the hole and ground so it will be in front of the green screen footage when the actor falls down the hole…think of the ground layers as a sandwich bread between the actor.

Why not just purchase the product for $50 and then you can play around with it and learn how they did it. Consider it $50 for a great way of learning how to do something.

I think 444 is overkill. I use 422 (hq). Also, you can import the Cannon’s RAW files straight into DaVinici so you don’t have to convert them to ProRess. This video: https://vimeo.com/66930988 was shot on a 5D and I worked with the RAW files in Premiere then made an XML and imported it into Resolve. When I was done I exported out ProRes 422 HQ files. Because I work with the Sony F3 which Resolve doesn’t support I edit the RAW files in Premiere then export out the whole video and then do a Scene Detection in Resolve Hope this helps.

Another vote for Digital Anarchy’s Flicker free plug in. It did a great job of removing this crazy TV flicker in the background. I’m also using it in AE at the moment.

If this is one of those videos where a couple of people in the background are doing the same work out as the leader then it isn’t about the beat of music. The work out videos I have seen the main person counts and the others follow and do the same thing. You don’t need music to follow the leader. But maybe you have something different.
