I switched to Adobe and I’m glad I did. It is much better for my situation. That being said, I’m not aware of a way to make motion to AE files work. You can use Automatic Duck, but they no longer make the software because the creator now works for Adobe. Because of that the software is now free but not updated: https://www.automaticduck.com/products/piae/ Obviously it wont convert everything. The reality is, you can still export out your Motion file as a Pro Res file and import it into Premiere. When I switched I just switched. So all “Legacy” projects where done in FCP/Motion and all new projects where done in Premiere/AE and after a year it became very rare to open up FCP. I had one client that I work with a lot and just rebuilt the graphics in AE that I use over and over.

The way I understand it is: The reason it won’t work is because it requires an Animator which is not part of the text by default. When you add a preset it adds the Animator. So, instead of copying the keyframes for animated Text presets you just need to copy the Animator. To do this click on the text’s disclosure triangle to revel the Text option. Then click on the Text options disclosure triangle to see the options available. One will be Animator. Select it and copy it. Then select the layer you want to add the typewriter effect to and past it. Be forewarned that it will add the keyframes to wherever the playhead is when you past the animator. Add the motion blur to the elements that you want to have motion blur which is typically every layer.

Adding Motion blur will greatly help. It is the check box close to the 3D layer check box. Look for the one with three stacked circles. Also, 60fps is a strange FPS for what you are doing. Last, YouTube isn’t really know for videos that look really sharp. That is why many video professionals have there work on Vimeo.
