You could animate the objects in yourself using behaviors or keyframes to build the word. This plug-in may be of help as well: https://idustrialrevolution.com/plugins/particlemetrix/

I think all of the above would work. It is a matter of how real do you want it to look and what programs are you the most familiar with. I’m familiar with AE and Motion and know I could duplicate most but not all of it in those programs. A great website for textures is https://www.cgtextures.com/

Why not cut in the 1440×1060 size. Drag the clip to the time line and Final Cut will ask if you want your time line to be that size. When you are done you can burn it to a DVD and author the DVD so it ads back on the top and bottom of the clip when it plays it on a non-16×9 TV. If your going to broadcast tape the AJA card can add the black to the top and bottom as well. I’m a fan of 16×9. In a way it is a matter of taste I guess. Hope this helps and best of luck.

In After Effects or Motion use the Shape tool and animate a few of the shapes. Then as you wrote. Re-use the shapes over and over again. Hope this helps.

It is a new template to Motion 4. Open up Motion and go up to File, Open Template. Scroll down the Themes and find Splash. It is way cool. Best of luck and hope this helps.
