    Hi All,

I’m doing a project for university, my first personal developement,I intend to do a very cheap version of this advert from sony, I know I need greenscreens which I have, but what would I need also to help pull a decent effect off with regard to the physical effects, fans etc. Would the background sets be made and exploded in 3ds max? Any advice at all is most appreciated.

    Many thanks, Lorraine

Compressed air bursts, reactive lighting from stage hands hand-holding lights, you could lob green-painted foam chunks at the actor and they could feel and react to them.

Why copy this spot, I think it’s not very good.

In regards to the background, should I shoot my own or try and build it model or 3ds max form, or just use the simple effects like shatter on a 2d background?

    thanks,Lorraine

I think all of the above would work. It is a matter of how real do you want it to look and what programs are you the most familiar with. I’m familiar with AE and Motion and know I could duplicate most but not all of it in those programs. A great website for textures is https://www.cgtextures.com/
Hope this helps and best of luck.
