Be sure to set it to best when you export. You can also place the Motion project file into your Final Cut Pro timeline and render it there so you don’t have to export. In FCP go to Sequence, settings, Render Control and set Quality to Best. Hope this helps and best of luck.

I think it was to be YouTube cool. I’ve had at least two clients tell me that their flip camera is just as good as the professional stuff we use. I joked and asked them when the flip camera with interchangeable lens was coming out.

Just using external hard drives now. Or for DVD replication a master disc.Careful, you need to spin up all of your drives at least once to twice a year. If you don’t the magnetics will fade and turn your hard drives to bricks.

Bottom right window. Click on the Search tab, right below the tab is a pop-up menu. Make sure Sound Effects if selected. And you are good to go. Best of luck.

I would go with the DSLR, shoot in the biggest size. That way you could be well over 3 times the size of HD. That way if the tree doesn’t go as tall as you think it will you can zoom in on the content.

Go to your System Profiler and select the FireWire option. See if the computer is recognizing the fire wire. If it is not, I swear by this because it makes no sense. Unplug your power cord from the back of the box for 5 minutes. Re plug it in and it will see the firewire 400 ports again. I know that sounds crazy but it has worked for me several times.

Not to beat the dead horse, but everyone needs to look at the ads. The COW has had adds for FREE stock footage from different high end companies. We are talking the kind of clips that go for $300 to $900 per clip. And the COW has had links to lots of them. If you would look at the ads you could have gotten well over $10,000 worth of FREE stock footage within the last year. As I was trying to write, the COW has your back.
