Once the file is saved in Motion you most close Motion to make changes to the Photoshop file. If you don’t save the project then it will not ask you to close Motion. Hope this helps answer your question. Best of luck.

To feel your logo with smoke you will need to to an image mask. To learn more about image mask check out my Creating a Hologram video tutorial. In the middle of the tutorial I cover image masks.

Okay, cool. For a map to Hawaii and Los Angeles you may want to consider just buying one for $10 or so at a place such as iStockPhoto. When doing a search you may want to only search Illustrations. There are a lot to choose from. That way you don’t need to learn Illustrator but you still get a professional looking map. That Illustrator map can be imported directly into Motion. You’ll have to change some settings and I’m more then happy to walk you through it if you like me to. Anyways, if it is a Illustrator file you can make it vector in Motion so you can zoom in as much as you want with no lose of quality. Let me know if you need those steps. Before I learned how to group tracks I created two tracks that need to animate together. So I added a Camera and animated it to move the two tracks. Then I needed to duplicate that project and move the two objects over so they sat side by side. In order to move the objects I moved the camera and not the two Object tracks. I did it numerically down in the Advanced Controls. I know I didn’t move the Objects because I would have had to move them both where I can only move one Object at a time unless I group them. Which I didn’t know about before I started this mess of a project.
I want to move the camera with numeric values instead of the tools in the Scene Preview window. How do I do that. Thanks for your help.

With TV all but dead, stations cant afford the photog and reporter any more. The station I worked for already switched to all platform journalists. CNN, MSNBC, they rely heavily on viewers sending in video on these little contraptions. Videographer means nothing now. The iPhone makes complete sense where the content is the focus rather than the professionalism of the video. I’d rather shoot with a Red any day or a DSLR…. but every camera has its purpose or else they wouldn’t be able to sell them.I agree.

we should be asking what these inventions will do to the makeup of our society rather than the industry.I think this means we will finally see good footage of Big Foot. The problem has been that when someone sees him they don’t have a camera handy. You always have your phone with you so the next time you spot him you can get some footage. 🙂 I mean, what if this guy had an iPhone instead of a big stick.

The T2i came out earlier in the year so I would not expect to see a new version soon. I’m not sure if they make a under water housing for it yet but I would not be surprised considering how popular this camera is. Take a look at the Great Camera Shootout. They said the video quality of the 7D was the same as the T2i. Hope this helps.

What do you think the street value of that leprechaun flute is? I couldn’t find any leprechaun flutes that where handed down from generation to generation from someone with Irish heritage.
