Go up to Render in the top right corner and change Resolution to Full and change Quality to Best. Everything will look Sharp and Crisp but the real time playback will be sluggish.

Neil’s way is easier and recommended…but to swap it you can select the clip you want and hit the command and C keys to copy it. Then right clip on the clip you want to replace and choose Paste Attributes. Then choose Content. Content will take the last clip and past it into the new clip. Because of varying lengths it is easier to paste the attributes such as Basic Motion and Filters though.

I agree, Motion Graphics can take a long time and are well worth it. Part of our job is to educate our clients on the process and why it might take longer then expected.

You need to instal a plug-in to log & Transfer 7D footage. Go to Cannon official site: https://usa.canon.com/cusa/consumer/products/cameras/slr_cameras/eos_7d#DriversAndSoftware

and set the Operating System to Mac OS X and select Software. Download the EOS MOvie Plugin-E1 for Final Cut Pro.
