To me it looks like a circle shape that is animated off with a circle mask to reveal the new circle that was animated on with a circle mask.

The Write on will not effect the video below just the layer it is applied to. If your check box and text is in one comp go into that comp and apply the Write on the the layer that the check box is on.

I just use the Compressor iPhone default and it works great. In the Settings area choose Apple, Apple Devices, and then I like the “H.264 for iPod video and iPhone 640 x 480.” and it will do the rest.

Create your check and then apply a “Write On” Filter. Move the position to where the check mark animation would start. Then move your play head down say 10 frames and then move the position to where the check mark bends. Then move the play head down 20 frames and move the position to the end of the check mark. Increase the brush size so it covers up your check mark. Then change Paint Style to “Reveal Original Image.” Then it will look like someone is drawing your check mark on. To have the video not move and have the Text layer move in 3D space place the Text and Video in two different groups. Make the Video group a 2D group. Make the Text group a 3D group. Then you can animate the text with the camera and the video will not move.

Or you can have both the text and the video in a group and just change the Text layers Rotation independently of the video.

Is this correct:

You want flat text to have a video playing inside of it. And the video and text move around in 3D space as if they are one element? Is that correct?
