Make sure you are selecting AC3 Pro, not AC3 Studio.

When a program hangs, it’s often because of a failure in the wait chain: some task or thread or process is stuck and is holding up all the program elements waiting behind it.
ResMon can let you analyze the wait chain of a hung program to see what’s causing the blockage and to terminate the stalled element. In many cases, your hung program might then recover and operate normally.
Run “ResMon” and click the CPU tab then find the troublesome application in the Processes section’s Image column. (An “image” in this case is simply the name of a program or process.)
Right-click the app or process and select Analyze Wait Chain.
When the Analyze Wait Chain dialog opens, you’ll see all the processes on which the selected program is waiting for.
If you find a process in the Analyze Wait Chain dialog, select the checkbox next to the wayward process’s name and then click the End process button at the bottom of the dialog box.
With luck, the offending process will then restart and your software will recover from its hang!Steve Mann

In the Render As template open the Custom properties. On the Audio Service tab under Dialog normalization the default is -27 dB. Then on the Preprocessing tab change both the Line mode profile and RF mode profile to None. This will let the true volume of your project through and not apply these profiles to it.

Check your Dialnorm parameter.
Do not alter the audio in your Vegas project to fix it. There is probably nothing wrong with it. The audio level of the DVD is determined by the DialNorm parameter in the “render as” template. If the DVD volume is low decrease the DialNorm parameter. In the Render As template open the Custom properties. On the Audio Service tab under Dialog normalization the default is -27 dB, change it to -30 dB (I find that -31 dB is sometimes too loud but try it and see). Then on the Preprocessing tab change both the Line mode profile and RF mode profile to None. This will let the true volume of your project through and not apply these profiles to it.

I bought four of the Ready2Go packages. The first one installed and ran beautifully, but when I installed the second one, half of the previews weren’t showing in Juicer. Even more odd, half of the first installed previews disappeared.

Generally, you want your operating system and program files on the C drive. All other files can be on any other drive. Hard drives will not be your bottleneck – processor speed is what gives you the most bang for the buck.
