Check the Nero website for updates. They recently added H264 and still call it Nero 6 Ultra.

I always render to a new track before PTT. It gives me a single file for archiving and it guarantees that I won’t have a problem rendering at PTT time.

I think that would give the opposite of what is wanted.

How about the menu items be text only, no text. Use the highlight mask to create the illusion of a button when that item is selected.

I could be wrong, but I recall that the Vegas 1KHz tone is at -12 dBm.

In my experience, a static pagefile slightly improves system performance and reliability. You do this by setting the minimum and maximum memory amounts the same.

I used the Excalibur PBS script on a photo montage of 120 images of various size and resolution, and in ten minutes, I had a good slideshow. Thirty minutes of tweaking the pan/crop of some of the larger images and I have a great slideshow.

  • Lighting the screen properly is the key to chromakey. Green is the preferred because most DV cameras use green for the luma information and you get fewer aliasing artificts (jaggies). Green is also the least likely color you will encounter in your subjects, but with Vegas you can use any color that is not in your foreground subjects.

Light the screen evenly and keep your subjects as far from the screen as practical. Do not make the screen so brightly lit that the subjects are being illuminated from behind by the light reflected from the screen.
