  • DVD Architect 2 & buttons Question?

Posted by Tonys on June 8, 2005 at 4:11 am

I have designed a menu in Photoshop which includes the text for the chapters. I would now like to add one button that moves up and down from the first chapter eg: Intro to the next chapter Video Clip & so on, so the other buttons are hidden.

I am using DVD Architect 2, is this possible & if so how would I go about doing this?

    Many thanks ahead.

Not sure exatcly what you are after, but highlight masking seems like the tool you need to become familiar with.

You cannot make full-color buttons appear and dissapear, but you can make the text or other shapes do that with highlight masking.

Perhaps masking with a carefully-placed clone of the section that you want to hide? (I hope I am reading this right) In other words, make a new layer in photoshop that has covers the button with a snapshot of the background.

I think that would give the opposite of what is wanted.

How about the menu items be text only, no text. Use the highlight mask to create the illusion of a button when that item is selected.
