    Jeff,

You can probably find many posts and answers in this forum about sequence settings. I’d do a search for more detailed info, however the general rule is to set your sequence to the source setting of the majority the footage you’ll be using.

As for your HD and SD material being different sizes, well, that’s because they are different sizes. Also search Mixing formats.

Understandable – I mapped mine to FN+CTRL+A,S,D,F,G,H… suits my background as a pianist 😉 I also like having discrete keys so I can compare any two given modes easily.

  • Just a bit, eh? 😉 Allyn, what’s your delivery system? I wonder if there’s a server-side solution for the branding.

You can create them under Tools -> Keyboard Layout -> Customize…

Then go to the compositing submenu.

Neat idea, I’d never thought of it but am going to set it up now!

  • Hi Allyn,

Unfortunately I don’t have an answer for you but am sure the brighter minds on the forum here will. I was struck by your need to do such a large render until I re-read your post and noticed you’re adding a bug throughout, which means you need to render the entire sequence. Have you considered using the Watermark feature of Compressor for this instead? I haven’t had cause to use it but it may speed your workflow a bit.

    Graham,

Sounds like this process is a bit cart-before-the-horse. One of the main reasons we generally finish an edit before color correction is, well, what’s the point of correcting and rendering footage you may not use?

That being said, aside from your “brute force” method, there is no way I know of achieving this. I’m assuming the Neat Video plugin is FCP, not Color… (I know very little about Color – new Year’s Resolution 😉 and the FCP filters will copy out with the project file via MM but not bake-in.

    Dean,

You’re not being scolded. This has been answered several times. There is no compatibility in the direction you’re seeking – what you want to do is not possible.

December 10, 2009 at 3:33 pm in reply to: iChat Preview to PC

I’ve tested iChat Theater over our internal WiFi network with great results… but unless there’s been an upgrade I’m unaware of, the manual indicates that Mac OSX on both ends of the connection is a *system requirement* for iChat Theater to work, as indicated in previous posts.

How did you get it to work to a PC at all?
