I’m going to be working with composite modes quite often on an upcoming project and I can’t seem to be able to find an easy way to toggle through the them on a clip like you can in After Effects. Is this possible?

You can create them under Tools -> Keyboard Layout -> Customize…

Then go to the compositing submenu.

Neat idea, I’d never thought of it but am going to set it up now!

Thanks…what would be optimal would be just one customized button that when used goes to the next mode. But I can live with giving each mode it’s own key.

Understandable – I mapped mine to FN+CTRL+A,S,D,F,G,H… suits my background as a pianist 😉 I also like having discrete keys so I can compare any two given modes easily.

This one is in my book! I map the modes to the numeric keypad with CMD and OPT keys. That way you can zip through all the modes.
