This is something I have complained about often. I suggest you use feedback to let Apple know there are more folks than I that think this is a bug or at least a feature we need.

Somehow you probably applied cross dissolves to the entire sequence by having all the clips in the sequence selected and then hitting the command+t keys or by dragging the dissolve transition on the middle of a clip while all clips were selected.
My method of clearing them all would be to open the timeline index and search “cross” then select all in the resulting search and then delete.

I’ve only had it for a few days and I haven’t worked it hard but seems very quiet. The box is quite a bit larger than it looks as the connections are connector wired from the drive tray to the controller but other than that seems to work well. I like not having to screw the drives to a tray.
Instructions are less than stellar but I figured them out.

I have 2 of these. One raid 5 and 1 JBOD. Work just peachy and fast with the new Mac Pro tube.

I keep a fully backed up clone just in case I need to change my startup disk to a rolled back version.

Just opened STP, Compressor 4, DVDSP and Color. All opened although I didn’t actually open any saved projects other than STP they all looked as though they would work fine.

Just a wild guess here: any chance your viewer is set to an odd percentage (fit to window)… instead of 100%, 50%, 25%.?
