If you click on a keyframe and go to spatial interpolation and allow it to rove that seems to alleviate some issues with the Camera motion. Its good for animating just about anything actually…

Also although you probably all know this but if your camera comes to a stand still and and POI doesnt stop moving at the same time as the camera you get weird jumps.

Cant you just precompose the layer and then use a mask?

My 2 cents but if you can go back and fix the camera moves… they didnt seem that fluid… and if you were going for jerky they weren’t jerky enough. And now that you’ve finished it, why not go back and ad more people, graphic elements to it?

I took a look at the commercial. Very cool. You’d have to do more than run a particle simulation. You’d have to actually create a 3d model of whatever it was you want to dematerialize and then composite it.

well if you want to do it I would suggest actually drawing each little trail of ink dribbling off the 3d stroke using mask on a black layer. I think thats the best way. You could also try using one of the distort filter that lets you sort animate the liquify brush. You’ll have to precomp the layer your 3d stroke is on. Good luck.
