    If you have a floating window open on top of your video window, that may cause a problem like that.

    In the effect pallete under the title/matte tab, you will see “apply to title-matte”. That needs to be activated for the effect to apply to your matte only.

    I have used the BCC cube effect successfully with Adrenaline. You have to layer the video cube sides up then apply the effect to the top layer. From there the faces can be assign as first below, second below etc… Good luck.

    There is a training facility here in Chicago where I have attended a few classes. Sterling Ledet is the name of the company. Expensive but good. ledet.com they have a Indy site as well. Goood luck.

    I recently used the CC glass plugin (pro bundle effect) and was happy with the results. Assuming you have footage of water, set that as your bump map and toy with the settings till you get desired effect. As for sinking it….maybe cross dissolve coupled with a camera move? Good Luck.
