    Paper Floating on Water

    I’ve been asked to simulate the effect of a piece of paper floating on water and then slowly submerging under it. Anyone got some tips or ideas?

    I recently used the CC glass plugin (pro bundle effect) and was happy with the results. Assuming you have footage of water, set that as your bump map and toy with the settings till you get desired effect. As for sinking it….maybe cross dissolve coupled with a camera move? Good Luck.
