I’d suggest 2 things.

But 1st. Have you ever successfully dragged and dropped 10TB via finder onto this raid?

To copy that amount of data you should be verifying and I wouldn’t use finder to do 10TB :-/

That way hopefully CS will flag an issue not the OS panics..

Or… or after No.1 if that fails

1. Get 2T of data. The first portion.. not some near the end of the folders being copied and copy that across into a folder called A -Using CS or if you must Finder ( but I wouldnt..)

Create a folder B and copy that same data again/…. C D E repeat till raid has 10TB on.

How much space does your raid have ? CMD+i
How much data is there in your backup ? CMD+i

To copy that amount of data you should be verifying.

Are you sure you don’t have a corrupt file in your backup your copying across ?

How are you restoring your media ? Not just drag n drop in Finder?

All I can suggest is make a new timeline.
Remove all speed change clips and try an export

If works is a speed change issue.

Then find any clips with large retime % ie 4000 and try just exporting that to see if it crashes.

I’ve never had good results with DW with external raids only single drives.

As a last resort maybe I would try. But if there is an issue like yours and its not reported as needs fixing in DiskUtil in OSX then its not an OS issue.

Plus the the pure size of raids it would be quicker to just reformat the raid and re copy the media back over to the raid that sit there hoping a rebuild works.

As for complete systems. I prefer a reseller I trust to buy everything from firstly. If I was in the US Bob would be my first call to ask his preference.

Yeah I hear ya Bob!.. Hence buying spare chassis and drives now as the R380 is a great card still.
