Your QT window is simply bigger than the viewing window in Resolve.

Import a 4444 clip with an alpha and drop it on TRK 2

and some text title onTRK 3

All looks good.

Now select 1 or both of the clips on TRK 2 & 3 and make a compound clip.

Now all you get in the compound clip media on black.

Alphas should pass through so they still get composited over TRK 1

AV off… like butter.

Resolve is fine. Maybe a driver thing.. maybe a thunderbolt delay thing.

ie a thunderbolt raid takes WAY longer to get upto speed than a SAS PCIE connected raid.

You were supposed to be able to use any channel from EXR but I never got it to work.

Sent some EXR’s to support but never heard back after a short to and fro.

want to share fcp-x projects ?

set to leave files in place (on server)
set Cache to a shared out cache folder on server.

Set location of library (which should be small now) to be dropbox and share that folder between edit suites.

Also point backups to dedicated backup folder also shared on dropbox
