Got a Pegasus R1.
Cam with Hitachi non enterprise. ( they never ship with Enterprise)
Had drives die and they replaced/
Recently another died and they sent a seagate.
Said they had no Hitachi left.. and that it is finr to MIX drives! lol.
Stripped them all out and replaced with HGST Enterprise.
not a peep since.

I’d get in touch with Promise.
Maybe look for an HP LTO6 mech instead?
If you want TB why not just get one of these ?

So your opening a VPN connection

What application are you using to screen share?

No – You can- Your using Disk Database = Local
You need to create a Postgres Database.
This will reside where you define it and allow other to connect to it – edit – save etc.
You can even collaborate and have edit and grade happening at same time.

And yes, I consider Yosemite a virus. This morning I partitioned an external Thunderbolt 2 drive and put Yosemite and R12 Studio Beta on it and the Resolve installer installed a version of CUDA that works with R12. I have not tried Media Composer on that system yet.
Why does the above make 10.10 a virus? :-/
You installed new sw that requires cuda on your system
it installed the correct version for you.:-/
