Nope but we have the 16Bay Sas expanders and they are running well no issues.

Was going to get the 16bay and using the Areca card with a single external you can expand the TB one with the SAS expander ones.

now the 24 bay is out that includes a slot for a mac mini I’m just waiting for the mini’s to be updated then are going for one of those.

So basically if you have a file thats VIDEO and you have to playout to dcp you need a Video to FULL Lut .

So where can one find that?

    Or

Can you load the file up. Tell Resolve in clip attar that its video
Goto delivery and set it to DATA and render out a data version ?

Will delivery stretch it out ?

  • Also bug where you bring in an xml with 720p footage into a 1080 timeline

the 720 media is scaled up and you have to scale to .666

only option is no scale. but then you loose all other scaling you want in the XML

Send the plates to VFX dept ?

    Depends how bad they are.

do a luma key for them
put a window round each one and track the spot. 1 window per spot
    Expand your matte
grade to be same red (though you wont get the shading/reflectance properties of the paint)

depending on movement could also try offsetting in the x or y ie clone

but that depends on the cars movement

    still should be simple.

    I use both

    Online > Nearline ( Disk to Disk -server-1 Raid1 to Raid2) Chronosync
    Online > Backup (Disk to Disk server-1 Raid1 to server-2 Raid1 ) Chronosync
Backup> Backup (Disk to LTO server-2 Raid1 to LTO5) PresStore

Dont want to touch Seagate since that aweful FW mess years ago that burnt me..

Hitachi appear to have removed the part in the info on Deskstars that says video raids. tut tut…

Enterprise drives in some cases are different. They have larger heads.

These are new and look promising for near line/NAS

Am on 2nd RMA for Deskstar for our Pegasus

You can buy a spare.. but it comes with sled and is.. wait.. £260 + Tax! lol…

    Hi Peter.
Would/Should you select this option when running a single GFX card for both GUI/GPU ?

Along with the optimize option ?

    Thanks
