Not really. That image is recorded onto the tape.
You can try blurring that area heavily so you can’t read it….but it will still be distracting.
Not much you can do other than re-shoot.

Did you delete the FCP preferences? Download FCP RESCUE and run that.
Also, try creating a new project and see if it works there. If it does, something is up with your current one.

If you get a CODEC NOT FOUND missing hardware check ALL your images in Photoshop and make sure there are in a RGB color space NOT CYMK, LAB, OR GREYSCALE

Nope. FCP is all processor based. Only a faster processor will get you faster render times.
Used to be a card called ICE…but only worked with rendering the ICEffects.
