    Hi Justin,

Glad you like this first mic. It’s still not finished though.

[Justin Productions] “Just one question thought; with what software did you created that old mic? It looks albsolutely fantastic!”

I only used Illustrator and Invigorator Classic to create the model. The maps where all created using AE.

As in “InvigoMany” volume one, volume two will also include some tutorials revealing the techniques I use.

    Salut mon ami.

    Hey Jon,

    Glad you like this model.

I love the look of the RCA 77 DX. It will also be included in the volume among other old ribbom mics.
As you said their sound is just great and I love the 30s & 50s look those mics have.

    All the best.

    Hey Tom,

    Check your e-mail.

You owe me nothing, buddy. Having created InvigoMany doesn’t mean we stop the goodies in this forum.
Open the illustrator file to see how you could create these kind of simple objects.
If you open this project using Invigorator Pro or Classic version 4 you may need to rearange some elements as this version was created using Invigorator Classic 3.0.9 that has a different world axis.

    Hi,

Jon is absolutely right. Nothing is easier then creating a classic film slate with IL and Invigorator.
I am working right now on “InvigoMany” volume two and I already created a film slate.
If you are not in a rush I will send you the file tommorow when I get to the office. E-mail me at serge_01 at msn dot com.

I am almost done with an old mic using the classic version btw and would love to know what you guys think of it:

InvigoMany volume two will be about “Media” objects. If you have any wishes let me know. Thanks

    Salut.

May 12, 2006 at 12:18 am in reply to: texture for sphere

    Hi Damon,

You should also consider painting the holes for the stitches and use this map as a transparency map.
You would then need to place a second black sphere inside of your baseball to get dark holes.
Your bump map should also have a kind of leather texture.
I have a Baseball on my site https://www.nyc-visual.com if you want to have a look at it.

    Salut.

    Hi,

Your texture map should have an aspect ratio of 1:2 (1440 X 720 or 972 X 486 for instance)
What are you trying to create?

    Salut.

    Hi David,

Are you using the latest version of ProAnimator 3?
Does this happen with other ai files?
Did you uncheck “Use Compression when saving your ai file using CS2?

    Let us know.

    Salut.

    Hi,

I am afraid that your version is too old to work with AE 7. Check Zaxwerks site to see if you still can download version 3.0.9, the latest free upgrade before version 4.0. Or contact the support team.

    I hope this helps.

    Salut.

May 9, 2006 at 8:41 pm in reply to: 3d objects and controllers

    Hi,

Not to have your object disappear once you switch to the AE Camera you should do the following:
-In the Scene Preview window in camera mode, Click on Front View.
-Now, check the use AE Camera box.

As to question #2 I assume that you are referring to the Set controllers. Right?
In this case, make sure in the Set-Up window that your object is assigned to a set other then Set (0). I remember an older version of Invigorator that used to import 3D objects to Set (0) by default.

    Does this help?

    Salut.

  • Hi,

If I got you right, you are looking for a “Torus”. As you have Invigorator 4.0 (Make sure you upgrad for free to 4.0.7) You could create one right away by selecting: Object>Create 3D Primitive. Invigorator will first create a sphere but you could then once you select the sphere turn it to a torus in the Object menu.

    Does this help?

    Salut.
