Select your set in the scene preview window then click at the bottom of your set menu on “Recenter Pivot”.
This should get you a perfect scaling.

Hi,
Here are a couple of rules:
– Uncheck the “Use Compression” box when saving your files.
– Your existing logos may contain unnecessary paths used to fake
shadows, extrusion etc… Get rid of these.– If your logo contains rasterized elements it won’t work. Consider
mapping those elements.– Yes you can use Live Trace BUT you may sometimes end-up spending
more time cleaning the result. I prefer to use the IL tools to trace
things.– The golden rule is to keep your artwork simple. Invigorator likes
closed paths & text must ALWAYS be outlined. There is no tutorial for now on this but I dedicated a lesson to the subject in the Invigorator-Training DVD.

Hi,
If you have Invigorator you could easily recreate a similar effect.
Create a sphere, as many planes as needed, place and rotate the planes in the set-up window and map your objects.
Here is a quickly done example:

Hi,
-Make sure that the duration of your composition is as long as needed.
-In the AE timeline your Proanimator layer should have the same length
-The Proanimator Animation timeline should then adjust automatically.
Salut.

Hi,
The TGA format does support an Alpha channel. You must be doing something wrong.
As I already mentioned you could also use the layer mapping technique. This way you will be able to use any format that AE supports.
Salut.

Hi Laurie,
Invigorator accepts JPEG,TGA and PIC files.
If you want more flexibility then use the layer mapping technique. BUT if you are seeing the black this means that you would see the default Grey of your object when you are able to use the alpha in your map.In other words the aspect ratio of your map may not be correct.
Tell or better show us more.

Hi,
Go to https://www.nyc-visual.com and click on examples. You should look for the example named “Logo in bubbles” or something like that.
If you need more help let us know.

Hi,
You have to apply a custom edge to a tiny circle when you are after creating a symmetrical object.
Here is an example of a Frisbee created with a Custom Edge:
https://www.nyc-visual.com/Frisbee.movHere is the Custom Edge:
https://www.nyc-visual.com/Frisbee.sit
Replace the file with the one existing in your custom edges subfolder.
You could also open the file in IL if you are interested in learning more on how I created the edge.To get a perfect smooth object, you need to type in the following value for both Object Faceting values: (0.01) Just remember to do so right before your final render not to slow down your RAM Preview.
As to your rotation issue, if you first rotate your object in the X Axis you would need to animate the Z-Axis instead of the Y in order to get the rotation you are after. For a perfect rotation (Although I think a Frisbee shouldn’t have one)you should recenter your pivot point in the scene preview window.
Salut.
Serge
