Click the Pan/Crop of the picture and then right click on it and choose match output aspect. Now the picture should have the same aspect ration as the project (DV/HDV…)

Well, I bit the bullet. Deleted all the proxies and all and renamed properly using bulk rename. Now I need to redo the proxies, but at least all will be organized.

Ouch! Now my folder is a big pile of 1500 MTS, AVI proxy, SKF and SFL files…

I’m afraid my proxy’s will be affected if the renaming is not perfect!

Well, I think I’ve been able to replicate the bug. If the marker of the playback is between my in and out point, the clip sent to the timeline will actually be only taken from that marker to the out point instead of the in to out point. If the playback marker is outside the in and out points, the clip is sent entirely to the timeline as it should.

Well, I played back your file and found nothing wrong with it.

When you choose “Render as” there is an option (in version 9 at least) “stretch video to fill output frame size” Make sure it is not checked.
