  • Aspect Ratio problem after rendering

Last night I finished a short piece and went to dump it to tape. It was shot on a PD150 with 16:9 set on and when editing everything was fine (black bard at top/bottom of preview window). Rendering to windows media worked fine and played OK. But after I rendered for print to tape the problems begun. The clips that had time stretch and fade in/out had reverted to 4:3. Going into properties and pressing OK/fiddling with aspect settings sorted most of the problems. Thing is the face in/out are still 4:3. Any idea what went wrong/how to fix it.

    Regards,
    Ben

When you choose “Render as” there is an option (in version 9 at least) “stretch video to fill output frame size” Make sure it is not checked.

I’m on it like a fat kid on a twinkie
