Thanks for the instructions. Found a few points I will use in the future. Would you have a .psd template you could share?

I guess I just need to plan my DVD menus from the start instead of putting them together last…

It’s a good suggestion. But since my media is composed of hundreds of clips, some of which are not even used (all the raw footage dumped from camcorder) I don’t want to color correct media that is not being used…

Using Vegas 11 latest build. But I seem to remember it doing the same thing in previous versions. Basically, I do all my edit then back on the first clip I create the color adjustment and look. Then I copy and paste the property of that clip onto the rest of the clips on my timeline.

As I’m writing it occurs to me that perhaps another property gets copied as well… will have to investigate.

On the event themselves. Although I fail to see how creating keyframes within the effect should have any impacts on the lenght of the clip or change it’s in an out points…

I’m sort of wondering… is this Titler Pro really worth it’s price tag of 299$? Doesn’t it look like a gimmick to make the upgrade to SV 11 more of a bargain?

I mean Bluff Titler https://www.outerspace-software.com/blufftitler.html sells for about 50$…

Hi. I’m also a Vegas user and copying the files from the card have never been an issue before. I’ve tried to “import” the clip by going thought the explorer tab, but it makes no difference….

Well, I did a reset to default settings then followed each step as you outlined and it is now working. Wish I knew what was wrong, but at least it’s working!

You could also delete/move the “supposed” offending file from it’s current location. Then start Vegas. It will give an error message of missing media, but at least you’ll be able to open the project.

You can then try to convert the malformed media using another instance of Vegas or some other conversion tool.
