That’s not an issue. When you have 24p captured footage, you can output 1080i60 no problem. A Kona or Decklink will add 3:2 pulldown automatically. So there’s no reason to capture 1080i60, and there’s no easy way to remove the pulldown once you’ve started editing.

I’m pretty sure the DVD spec doesn’t allow 50p. It has to be 50i or 25p. The DVD wouldn’t even work if it was 50p.

Doesn’t matter. The editor will flag it as anamorphic after it’s been imported into Final Cut. That’s the proper workflow for widescreen SD.

Just use 720×576 and tell him it’s anamorphic.

What’s the frame rate of the MPEG file that Compressor creates? Is it 50i or 25p? If it’s the latter, there’s your problem.

I just checked it. There is no default shortcut for this new command. You’re using regular zoom in/out, not the new one.
“Zoom In on Playhead in Timeline” is the new command from 6.0.2. You have to manually assign a keyboard shortcut for it. The undo problem is still there even if you assign it to Option +/-
