exporting at 300 causes problems for some reason. i always export 150 dpi. if the dimensions of your file were small, i’d say, yes, export at 300. If it’s a large composition, output 150. Shutting off anti-alias is supposed to help in this case, but apparently it didn’t.

Leave them as strokes instead of filling them. Use the blend tool to do a smooth color blend between the two strokes. Here’s a tutorial showing use of the blend tool: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PKhIlzYN3PA

Yoiu can build your design at 1/10 scale if you want. Make sure your placed bitmap images are built to their exact size, so the resolution is there, so when the file is scaled to 1/1 the data is there so the images turn out properly.

100% black means an object’s color is k=100 only, no other color values. CMYK black (or rich black), is a mixture of all of the colors, for example: c=73 m=68 y=67 k=89

That’s something easily done in Photoshop, and not-so-easily-done in Illustrator. Is there a reason you must create this in Illustrator versus Photoshop?

If you’re second drive has space, use it to save cache files and all that so you’re not working off of one drive only and slowing things down.

Can you re-shoot? If you can, re-shoot the scene at a higher FPS – Red is capable of shooting 60fps at 3K, or 120fps at 2K.

When you bring that rendered file back into Premiere, or Vegas, or FCP, what frame rate does it say the file is?
